Privacy

Tuners Collective is built around real community, which means we collect some information to run accounts, moderation, events, submissions, messages and the store. This page explains what we use, what stays private, and what controls you have.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use TC, we may receive account details such as your email address, profile information you choose to publish, posts and submissions, messages, group membership, saved items, event or route contributions, moderation reports, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

Store orders are processed through Shopify. TC may retain order identifiers, order status, checkout email, purchased product identifiers and shipping/tracking metadata so members can view order status and so verified-purchase features can work. TC does not need to store your full payment-card details.

Public versus private content

Your profile privacy setting controls whether your public profile is discoverable. Invite-only group content and unpublished or pending member uploads are intended for authorized users and are not treated as public media. Content you intentionally publish to public groups, forums, the Grid, Vault or Paddock may be visible to anyone.

Do not submit a home address, private meet location, personal phone number or other sensitive information to a public field unless you intend it to be public.

Messages and moderation

One-to-one direct messages are treated as private conversations. Group chats and public/community surfaces may be subject to automated or human safety moderation to enforce community rules. Reports you submit can be reviewed by TC administrators.

How we use information

  • Operate accounts, profiles, community features and member preferences.
  • Review and publish submissions.
  • Prevent abuse, spam, harassment and unauthorized access.
  • Run events, competitions, resources and community programs.
  • Support orders and verified-purchase review badges.
  • Understand product usage so TC can improve.

Analytics privacy

First-party product analytics records page and interaction categories, performance and device information. TC does not record message bodies or form-field values. URLs are minimized before collection: conversation identifiers, handles, management state, tokens and search terms are removed; only a short allowlist of non-sensitive Grid category and Group view filters may remain.

The anonymous browser identifier expires after 13 months. Analytics events are retained for no longer than 13 months. Signed-in events may be associated with your account and are deleted when you delete the account. TC honors Global Privacy Control and browser Do Not Track signals.

Sharing

TC does not sell member data to advertisers. We may use service providers that are necessary to run the product, such as hosting/database, mapping, commerce, email or analytics providers. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or when necessary to protect users and the service.

Retention and deletion

We keep information while it is needed to provide TC, satisfy legitimate operational or legal requirements, resolve disputes and prevent abuse. Account deletion is available from account settings; account-associated analytics is erased during deletion, while some public contributions may be anonymized instead of erased when retaining the contribution is necessary to preserve community discussions or records.

Your choices

You can edit profile information, control profile privacy, manage connections and blocks, leave groups, remove your own eligible content, manage saved items, unsubscribe from marketing email, opt out of first-party analytics above, and request account deletion. California residents may also have additional privacy rights under applicable law.

Contact

For privacy or data requests, use the contact method published by Tuners Collective on the site or through the official TC account. We may need to verify that a request belongs to the account holder before acting on it.
